It also depends on the difference in the angle of incidence of the Sun in a location, this generates a temperature gradient between the polar and tropical air, which generates strong gusts of wind. It is the statistics (mean or variance) of the atmospheric weather of a large area taken over time intervals of years. Like the weather, it uses temperature, pressure, winds, humidity, and rainfall as key variables to obtain the most accurate result possible. The climate in an area is determined by a climate system composed of the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, the cryosphere, the lithosphere, and the biosphere. Difference between Weather and Climate
- Weather is the state of the atmosphere evaluated in a small geographic area in a short period of time.
- Climate involves a statistical study of the weather over years over a wide geographic area.
