Proteins and Carbohydrates
Proteins and carbohydrates are both essential macronutrients that provide the body with energy. The basic difference between Proteins and Carbohydrates is that proteins are primarily made up of amino acids that are important for tissue growth and repair. Carbohydrates offer a quick source of energy but can also be stored in the liver and muscles as glycogen.
